Zoiboyz Summer Jazz at the CLCA ASFA coursing, December 19, 2010. He tied with Durango for 1st place. 13 borzoi running.

Great picture by KC. All in all, we had 23 hounds of various shapes and sizes. Several were puppies getting their first try at the lure. Some promising youngsters will be hitting the fields in the fall of 2011.

Some Updates from the ZoiBoyz

September 4 > Durango wins BoB on day 1 of the Region 3 invitational. Denver was 2nd in open class.

September 5 > Durango wins BoB and Best in Event at Region 3 invitational. After 9 dogs were judged in the BiF runs Denver and Durango tied for the top spot and had to run off against each other. One judge had Durango by 2 and the other had Denver by 1.  Durango is victorious.

September 6 > Zoiboyz Summer Jazz wins open class at the RMBC Fall Specialty.

September 9 > Tom has surgery to repair a damaged nerve that controls feeling in the left face. The condition is known as trigeminal neuralgia. The surgery lasted 5 hours and to date has been successful.

September 17 > Durango wins BoB on day one of the Grand National. Denver was 3rd in Open class.

September 18 > Challenger wins BoB on day 2 of the Grand National

September 19 > Denver wins open class and Durango wins BoB on day 3 of the Grand national. 9 hounds ran in the Best in the Grand National. Durango scored third highest.

September 25 > Zoiboyz Perfect Storm v. Rosehill won the German Coursing Championship for the second year in a row.

October 2 > Denver takes first place in open class at the RMCC ASFA coursing in Wellington, CO.

October 6 > Friends and Mentors Hans Malota and Dagmar Kohl are traveling from Germany to Colorado to pick up the two new Malota Family additions; Romashka's Eowyn by Zoiboyz and Romashka's Eyla by Zoiboyz.

We just heard news from Chardonney, France, that Zoiboyz Perfect Storm v. Rosehill has placed 3rd in the 2010 European Coursing Championship. There were 32 males from all over Europe competing for the top 6 places.
