RMBC FUN DAY

The first ever RMBC Fun Day went very well. This was a day filled with activities which started out with an AKC B Match, Kim Plache' organizing and Amy Hobbs Judging. After the B Match awards we held a RMBC Membership meeting (14 members present) followed by a Bar B Q. While we were enjoying the food several of the visiting borzois were left to roam the pasture. It was fun seeing them cruise around like one. A jack rabbit was rustled up by one of them and they all took chase. What a fantastic site to witness. Mr jack escaped unharmed and the Zois got the run of their lives. After eating and the Zois rested a bit we had a Fun Run in which all did very well. Counting kids and family members we had 19 folks enjoying the day here at the ZoiBoyz Ranch. Hopefully we can make it an annual event.

Greeley, Colorado Shows

Interesting weekend. KC took Nitro both days. Plus, on Saturday took a Nitro son, Jazz, and on Sunday a Nitro daughter, Breezy (Breezy is owned by Melissa Pearce and Rebecca Peters Campbell). There were no other male puppies on Saturday and Jazz was given the 1st place ribbon. He did not place in the winners group. On Saturday Nitro placed 3rd of 3 hounds. On Sunday Nitro placed 1st with the same 3 hounds. He did not advance in the winners group but did get reserve. Breezy placed 1st in her puppy class and went on to win Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex for 1 point. KC handled the hounds on Saturday and Rebecca handled them on Sunday. We have no other shows scheduled for the remainder of this year.

New life at the ZoiBoyz Ranch today

Starlet and Halis puppies arrived beginning last night and into the morning. Five beautiful puppies were born - 2 girls and 3 boys - all healthy and Momma is doing well. Melissa Pearce and Rebecca Peters Campbell kept vigil all night long to make sure all went well. Many folks in the news loop from the west coast to the east coast.

All together we had over 50 hounds and people from as far away as Massachusetts, New Mexico and Wyoming. Puppy Evaluations at the Ranch today

Leo Abordo and Joan Garth (New Mexico) are joining a local breeder today and tomorrow here at the Ranch for "Puppy Evaluations". It should be an interesting weekend as puppies are always fun. This will be the second time that Leo has traveled here to do a puppy eval....
